Work plays a pivotal role in defining an individual’s quality of life and plays a major role in a person’s overall experience. The primary focus of our Supported Employment Program (SEP) is to assist adults both physically and developmentally challenged to obtain and maintain employment in a community setting. As a Job Coach you will support individuals engage in meaningful work opportunities.
Our team promotes independence and inclusion, as well as champions safe work environments. As a Job Coach you will assist with the following programs/initiatives: individual Community-based employment (volunteer and paid), Work Team responsible for Lawn Care, Work Team responsible for Snow Removal, Work Team responsible for Laundry. You will assist in fulfilling annual contracts with existing customers as well as explore potential work experiences for program participants. You will work out of our main Day Program building in Red Lake, ON, however will spend much of your time on work sites with our various teams in all weather conditions.
The right candidate will be able to demonstrate analytical reasoning, the ability to teach/instruct others with a multitude of learning styles, and have excellent interpersonal skills as well as written and oral communications skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate a variety of responsibilities will be an asset. Full-time positions come with a great benefit package with competitive medical and dental components and employer/employee matched pension plan at 3% after three months.
Salary range between $23.77-$24.86 per hour dependent on experience and education.
Qualifications:
- Post-Secondary Degree / Diploma in Human Services field or equivalent.
